Ventosa Vineyards is located on the northeast shore of Seneca Lake, in the heart of the Finger Lakes Wine region. Ventosa, the Italian word meaning “windy,” offers a unique Tuscan setting that brings the ambiance of Tuscany to the Finger Lakes. The vineyard at Ventosa consists of 23 acres of vinifera grapes. Ventosa grows Sangiovese and Tocai Friuliano, Italian grapes not typically found in the Finger Lakes.
